Brother Lawrence Nichols

We regret to inform you of the passing of Brother Larry Nichols. Larry joined the Sprinkler Fitters in October of 1990. In 2004 he began a long-standing career as an Officer when he was elected to the Examining Board. After his 3-year term on the Examining Board, he continued serving the Local on the Finance Committee. In 2010 he became the Union's Recording Secretary. In 2013 he followed that term by serving as President. In 2017 he proudly acted as Business Representative until he retired in June of 2024.
Larry was a dedicated member of the Sprinkler Fitters Local, and he will surely be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 3-9 p.m. at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL 60462. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Julie Billiart Church, 7399 W. 159th Street, Tinley Park, IL 60477.
