Open Enrollment for Supplemental Insurances

The National Coalition of Labor (NCL) Open Enrollment period for Supplemental Life, AD&D, Critical Illness and Accident Insurance started in October 2025 and will continue through December 24, 2025. You can now purchase up to $400K of Life and AD&D to protect your family. As always, there are NO MEDICAL QUESTIONS OR EXAMS.
Supplemental Life Insurance benefits are now extended up to age 75 regardless of active or retirement status, if you begin coverage before you retire. Select www.nclenrollment.com or call the NCL Insurance Hotline at (888) 212-7822; Monday – Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. CST.
The NCL is also offering Open Enrollment for Short Term Disability benefits from October 2025 through December 24, 2025. You can elect either $500/week of tax-free benefit for $27.50 per month of premium or $250/week of tax-free benefits for $13.75 per month of premium. This benefit can be paid out for up to 6 months. These benefits are available to active working members that are in good standing with the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 281.
